Terms and Conditions

  • Each participant requires a valid ski pass.

  • Helmets are mandatory for all participants.

  • The entry fee can be refunded if you cancel by email up to 7 days before the event. Unfortunately, cancellations made later cannot be accepted for organizational reasons.

  • If the event cannot take place due to external circumstances beyond the organizer's control (e.g., weather), a refund of the entry fee is excluded. The main event day is Saturday. Sunday serves solely as a backup date in case of weather-related restrictions. If the event cannot be held on either day of the respective event weekend due to weather or other reasons, the corresponding banked slalom stop will not be rescheduled. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the registration fees, as these are used to cover costs already incurred, particularly for planning, personnel, and materials.

  • The organizer, SLD Event & Marketing GmbH, Leopoldstrasse 24/1, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria, is organizing and managing the Banked Slalom competitions in 2026 on behalf of the association The Sesh e.V. in Schöneben, Axamer Lizum, and on the Kaunertal Glacier. Participants in this event will ski a timed course set by the organizer. The event will be divided into several categories (Kids, Youth, Open, Legends, and possibly Snowskate), with winners in each category subsequently determined. The focus, however, is not on competition, but rather on the shared experience of skiing in the banks. These terms and conditions of participation govern the legal relationship between the organizer and the participants in connection with the "Banked Slalom Tirol" at the aforementioned destinations in 2026.

  • By signing the form on the reverse side, a participation agreement is concluded between the organizer and the participant, and the participant and, if applicable, their legal guardian accept these terms and conditions. Only persons of legal age are eligible to participate. Minors are eligible to participate provided that at least one legal guardian consents to their participation and confirms this with their signature on the reverse side. The participant and, if applicable, their legal guardian expressly declare that the information provided on the reverse side is true and correct. If the organizer discovers that any of this information has been deliberately falsified, they are entitled to exclude the participant from further participation in the event with immediate effect. Should the event be unable to take place due to external circumstances beyond the organizer's control, a refund of the entry fee is excluded.

  • The participant agrees to receive emails from the organizer and its partners and acknowledges that all rights to the images produced at this event remain with the organizer, who reserves the right to use them, including personal data, for marketing purposes without restriction. By agreeing to this, the participant and, if applicable, their legal guardian consent to the processing of their personal data.

  • The participant acknowledges that the event contract is limited solely to participation in the Banked Slalom Tirol and does not extend to any other activities undertaken by the participant outside of this event. The participant is obligated to observe and comply with the organizers' instructions. Furthermore, the participant confirms that they have valid health and accident insurance, including helicopter rescue coverage.

  • The participant is required to remain exclusively on the marked course at all times. Participants are prohibited from entering adjacent (unpaved) terrain or venturing off the designated course at any time. Participants are also obligated to adhere to all applicable rules of conduct, in particular the FIS rules, the regulations of the cable car operators, and all other safety-related regulations.

  • Participants are required to thoroughly familiarize themselves with the course, terrain, and other on-site conditions before participating. Furthermore, participants are required to use appropriate safety equipment, including wearing a helmet. Participants also declare in advance that they will adapt their riding style to their knowledge and abilities, taking into account the terrain, equipment, and other participants. In particular, participants are prohibited from participating while under the influence of alcohol or in any other state that impairs their consciousness or physical performance. Participants are also required to keep their sports equipment with them at all times and not leave it unattended. Finally, participants acknowledge that this event is a "sport" and may involve significant risks.

  • The organizer is not liable to the participant for damages caused by slight negligence, with the exception of personal injury. The participant shall indemnify and hold the organizer harmless in this respect.

  • If the participant is an entrepreneur, the court with local and subject-matter jurisdiction for the organizer's place of business shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with this contractual relationship.

  • All legal relations, including any disputes between the organizer and the exhibitor, are governed exclusively by Austrian law, excluding its conflict of laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If the customer is a consumer within the meaning of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG), the mandatory provisions of the state in which they have their habitual residence also apply to this contract.
